Jordi Alba: Vinicius Suspension Is a Major Blow for Real Madrid Ahead of El Clasico
Barcelona great Jordi Alba says Real Madrid will miss Vinicius Junior in Sunday’s El Clasico. The Brazilian winger is serving a four-match suspension after his red card against Villarreal. Vinicius will also miss matches against Sevilla, Racing and Valencia. Despite his modest league return this season, Alba described him as a dangerous one-on-one player whose pace and attacking ability can trouble any defence. Real Madrid have won their last four matches without Vinicius, but Alba believes his absence still makes Barcelona’s task easier. Barcelona lead La Liga by six points and Alba expects his former club to win the Clasico.
