Mother Warns Daughter About Older Men, Gifts and Staying Safe

A mother has advised her daughter to be cautious of significantly older men who pursue much younger women. She urged young women to question whether such attention is genuine or an attempt to exploit their inexperience and control them. She also warned against being swayed by expensive gifts, phones or other offers. According to her, parents should create a safe space for children to report harassment or inappropriate behaviour by adults. The mother recalled an incident in which an adult allegedly asked for her daughter’s number after learning she was her child. She encouraged parents to listen to and believe children who raise concerns about adults.
