Woman Disguised as Man Named Suspect in Monaco Bombing of Ukrainian Billionaire
Authorities suspect a Ukrainian woman in her thirties planted a bomb at the Suns Palace apartment block in Monaco. The device detonated on June 29, critically injuring billionaire Vadim Ermolaev, his partner Anna Nasobina and their young son. Ms Nasobina lost both legs, and all three suffered severe shrapnel wounds and burns. Interpol has issued an arrest warrant and is preparing a red notice for the attacker. Surveillance footage shows her wearing a black bucket hat as she fled on foot into France. Investigators believe she then crossed into Italy, possibly with accomplices. Judicial authorities in France and Monaco have opened enquiries into attempted murder, planting an explosive device on a public road with criminal intent, and criminal conspiracy. Officials warn she remains armed and dangerous and should be approached with extreme caution.
