Software Engineer Charged with Wife’s Murder in US, Sent Body Photo to Lover
A software engineer in Washington state has been formally charged with killing his wife nearly nine months after their wedding. Police allege 30-year-old Avinash Narne strangled 27-year-old Raajitha Sabbineni in their apartment and staged the scene to hide the crime. Investigators used smart-lock and security system data to show no one else entered the home while Narne was out running errands. Digital records also revealed he maintained a secret relationship with another woman in India and called her on the day of his wife’s death. Court documents say Narne admitted sending his girlfriend a photograph of Sabbineni’s body the day after her death. He remains held on $5 million bail and faces life imprisonment under Washington state law if convicted.
