Ex-Arsenal Midfielder Criticises Lookman After Atlético Madrid’s 3-0 Loss to Athletic Club
Ademola Lookman had a difficult outing as Atlético Madrid fell 3-0 to Athletic Club at San Mamés. The Super Eagles forward managed one shot, completed no successful dribbles and was substituted in the second half. Former Arsenal midfielder Stewart Robson said Atlético lacked the individual quality and attacking combinations needed to break down Athletic Club. He added that Lookman did not get sufficiently involved in the game. The result came after Lookman scored his first goal of the season against Sevilla. He will hope to respond strongly in his next outing as Atlético and the Super Eagles look to him for attacking creativity.
