Troops Kill Two Terrorists, Recover Four AK-47 Rifles in Sokoto Operations
Troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA have killed two terrorists and recovered four AK-47 rifles during clearance operations in Sokoto State. In Waria Forest, Sector 2 troops engaged terrorists in a firefight, killing one suspect and recovering two rifles and two motorcycles. A second encounter in Sarma Village led to the killing of another terrorist, while others fled. Troops later recovered two more rifles, four magazines, 23 rounds of ammunition, eight motorcycles and a communication device. The task force urged residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity to security personnel.
