Ghana Renew Push to Convince Eddie Nketiah to Join Black Stars
Ghana have renewed their efforts to persuade Crystal Palace striker Eddie Nketiah to switch his international allegiance ahead of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations. Nketiah represented England up to Under-21 level and made one senior appearance in a non-competitive friendly in 2023. He is therefore still eligible to play for Ghana through his family heritage. The Black Stars previously approached the former Arsenal forward in 2019. Ghana will hope he follows dual-nationality players such as Inaki Williams and Antoine Semenyo in choosing to represent the country.
