Okeke’s Hat-Trick Sends Awka Capital Elite Into Chakapain All Stars Semi-Finals
Awka Capital Elite defeated city rivals Accord All Stars of Awka 3-1 to reach the semi-finals of the 2026 Chakapain Anambra State All Stars Football Competition. Onyeka Alex Okeke scored a hat-trick in the 11th, 16th and 47th minutes at Awka City Stadium on September 27. Chukwudi Daniel scored Accord’s consolation goal in the 52nd minute. ACE chairman Chijioke Nwajioha described the match as a competitive derby and said the team is focused on reaching the final. Coach Sampson Onyeji said discipline, dedication and an early-goal approach have helped the side, while Okeke received the Man of the Match award.
