How Faith Carried Me Through a Long Battle With a Mysterious Illness

I lived with severe symptoms for a long time and visited more than 20 doctors without getting a clear diagnosis. My skin became dry, itchy and discoloured, while I also experienced cracked lips, fatigue, migraines and recurring malaria-like symptoms. During my search for answers, I read about illnesses with symptoms similar to mine and later sought treatment at a general hospital in Oji River, Enugu State. After months of treatment, some of my symptoms reduced, although I later experienced a relapse. The experience took a heavy toll on my mental health and I battled suicidal thoughts. Through it all, my faith in Christ gave me strength to keep searching for help and to keep going. I share this as a testimony of survival and hope for anyone facing a difficult health challenge.
