16-Year-Old Schoolgirl Alleges Pastor Raped Her During ‘Deliverance’ on Church Altar
A 16-year-old girl from Amichi, Anambra State, says she was brought back from Lagos by her aunt for a special deliverance. She claims the pastor of Jesus Is Ontop Ministry detained her overnight and first touched her in the children’s bedroom. During a church session, the victim says the pastor told the congregation she was possessed by seven marine spirits. She alleges he then forced intercourse with her on the altar and later at his poultry farm, threatening to kill her if she spoke out. The girl reports she went days without food and suffered bleeding after being given herbal concoctions meant to abort a suspected pregnancy. She had no phone or safe place to turn to until Anambra State’s Special Anti-Touting Squad rescued her at the pastor’s farm. She is now under medical care and appeals for further assistance. The agency that handled her case is arranging a full checkup and has begun investigations into the pastor’s actions.
