Three miners were killed by gunmen on Thursday evening along GSS Daffo Road in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State. The victims were reportedly returning from a mining site in Fubok, Daffo District, at about 7:15 p.m. when the attackers opened fire. They were identified as Maren Agom, 45, Joe Buba, 38, and a third man known as Mr Yellow. Community sources said security personnel were alerted and have begun efforts to trace the attackers. Security has also been reinforced in the area as concerns grow over recurring violence in Bokkos and other parts of Plateau State.
