Speeding Toyota Camry Crash Kills Three Young Men in Abuja
Three young men died instantly on Sunday when a Toyota Camry lost control and rammed into a bridge culvert on the Deidei-Idu-Karmo New Road in Abuja. Federal Road Safety Corps officials say the vehicle carried four male occupants. The driver lost control at high speed around 3:45 pm, causing the car to hit the culvert with such force that the engine was thrown into the river. Rescue teams recovered three bodies from the wreckage after cutting through the mangled vehicle. The fourth occupant was pulled out alive and is now fighting for survival in a nearby hospital. Traffic was disrupted for hours as motorists were diverted. FRSC commanders praised the prompt response, saying quick action helped save one life and recover the others.
