1 / 4

His Majesty Oba Oseni Isiaka Adu was born on October 1, 1960, in Akungba Akoko. He began his education in 1966 and developed a talent for furniture and interior design under a master craftsman in Ilorin. By 1976, he had trained many apprentices and earned recognition in Ondo township. In 1981, he joined Ajaokuta Steel Rolling Company as a foreman before furthering his studies at Government Technical College. After serving as Students’ Union President, he worked in Abuja and earned an NCE in Building Technology in 1993. He later joined the Ondo State Teaching Service Commission and rose to Head of Department at Adekunle Ajasin University. A devoted community leader, he led youth groups and championed development initiatives in Akungba Akoko. In 2007, kingmakers named him Alale-elect, but a legal dispute delayed his coronation. On July 30, 2025, the state government officially approved his appointment as Alale of Akungba Akoko. As he assumes the throne, the new monarch pledges wisdom, integrity, and service. Long live the Alale of Akungba Akoko!
