Enyimba Coach Blames Missed Chances After Third Straight NPFL Defeat
Enyimba assistant coach Okechukwu Ejeh says the club endured a disappointing day after a 1-0 home defeat to Inter Lagos. Moses Ezekiel scored the only goal in the 19th minute. Ejeh said Enyimba created more than 10 chances but failed to convert any of them. He added that poor pitch and weather conditions forced the team to abandon parts of its usual possession-based approach. The result leaves Enyimba bottom of the table without a point after three matches, their worst-ever start to a league season. The Aba club will host Sporting Lagos next and Ejeh is confident the team can respond.
