Yari Says Tinubu Should Not Be Solely Blamed for Nigeria’s Insecurity

Senator Abdulaziz Yari says President Bola Tinubu should not be solely blamed for Nigeria’s security challenges. He argued that former President Muhammadu Buhari, a retired army general, was also unable to completely end insecurity during his tenure. Speaking during a visit to Birnin Kebbi, Yari said the Tinubu administration was making efforts to address the crisis. He also called for collective responsibility, urging Nigerians to reflect on their relationship with God. On the economy, Yari said inflation and fertiliser prices had declined. He added that the Federal Government was using measures such as cash transfers to support vulnerable households.
