The Nigerian Association of Technologists in Engineering has chartered its Berger-Mowe and Oshodi-Ilupeju chapters, urging engineering technologists to uphold competence, integrity, safety and ethical standards. NATE President Dominic Udoatan said the new chapters would help technologists collaborate, share ideas and provide practical solutions to challenges in industry, infrastructure and technology. He added that the association remains committed to tackling quackery and promoting professional development. RECTEM Rector Oladunni Izobo-Martin said Nigeria needs a stronger technical workforce to support manufacturing, construction, energy, telecommunications and other sectors. The new chapter leaders also pledged to expand membership, encourage professional registration and organise training for members.
