Defending champions North Korea opened their FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup campaign with a commanding 6-0 win over Puerto Rico in Group B. North Korea led 5-0 at half-time before adding another goal after the break. They will face Poland next, while Puerto Rico take on Nigeria’s Flamingos. The Flamingos face Poland in their opening Group B match. The tournament is being held in Morocco from October 17 to November 7, with 24 teams competing.
