A Kano State High Court has sentenced Ayuba Sani Tumgafi to 10 years in a correctional centre for the unlawful killing of his friend, Ibrahim Dan Laraia. The court heard that the two men quarrelled over waking up for the early-morning Fajr prayer. The dispute later led to Laraia’s death.
