Nigerian Air Force Destroys ISWAP Logistics Hub in Precision Strike near Jilli
On 11 April 2026, the Air Component of the Joint Task Force (North East) Operation Hadin Kai carried out a precision air strike on an ISWAP terrorist enclave near the abandoned village of Jilli in Gubio LGA, Borno State. Weeks of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance missions along the Bindul–Jilli axis had identified the site as a major movement corridor. Recent attacks on military convoys and villages were traced to this logistics hub. During the operation, air assets and human sources confirmed the presence of gun trucks, motorcycles, and supply convoys. The strike destroyed vehicles and storage facilities, neutralising scores of terrorists and halting imminent attacks. On 12 April, security forces arrested a logistics courier who confessed to supplying ISWAP fighters. This action has significantly disrupted the group’s operations in the region.
