Businessman King Ochacho reportedly gifted newlyweds Peller and Jarvis a mansion said to be worth ₦400 million in Life Camp, Abuja, during their wedding celebration. Ochacho told guests that the gift was inspired by his children, who believed the couple deserved it. Peller, visibly surprised, thanked him and recalled jokingly inviting him to the wedding after meeting him at an earlier ceremony. The couple had reportedly also received a plot of land in Abuja, valued at about ₦150 million, as another wedding gift. Their celebrations followed their traditional marriage rites in Benin City and civil wedding in Lagos. Do you think extravagant wedding gifts like this are a generous show of support or an unnecessary display of wealth?
