Daniel Bwala Accuses Al Jazeera of Selective Editing
Daniel Bwala, Presidential Spokesperson on Policy Communication to President Tinubu, says Al Jazeera cut out critical parts of his recent interview. He claims the network aired only 49 of the original 80 minutes and later released an 8-minute segment that misrepresented his answers. Bwala says the full interview was meant to run for one hour and 20 minutes. He alleges the edits amplified certain points while omitting key context. He had been assured the complete video would air on TV before going online but was told breaking global news prevented this. He is now demanding that Al Jazeera publish the unedited footage to set the record straight and restore proper context to his statements.
