Rangers’ Godwin Obaje Scores 100th NPFL Career Goal
Rangers striker Godwin Obaje has reached 100 career goals in the Nigeria Premier Football League after scoring the winner in a 1-0 away victory over Warri Wolves in Ozoro, Delta State. Obaje converted an 11th-minute penalty to secure all three points for Rangers and achieve the landmark. The club celebrated the 30-year-old forward as one of the league’s most prolific scorers. Obaje began his professional career with Wikki Tourists in 2014 and has also played for Ifeanyi Ubah, Plateau United and Abia Warriors. He finished as the NPFL’s top scorer in 2016 with 18 goals and has had spells in Slovakia, Tunisia, Ethiopia and Oman.
