Should the Higher Earner Lead the Marriage?
Marriage needs trust, understanding and partnership. But couples often disagree about whether the person who earns more should automatically take the lead at home. I believe income and leadership are not the same. Earnings can change when careers stall, emergencies arise or one partner supports the family through a difficult season. A stable home should not turn leadership into a contest based only on who pays more. Both partners should contribute, communicate and take responsibility. Should leadership in marriage change with income, or remain constant regardless of who earns more?
