Orumba North Chairman Urges UNIZIK Alumni to Support University Growth
Orumba North Local Government Chairman Casmir Nwafor has urged Nnamdi Azikiwe University alumni to take active roles in strengthening the institution through mentorship, funding, networking and advocacy. Speaking at the UNIZIK Alumni Association Converge 2.0 in Awka on 28 August 2026, Nwafor said alumni are vital partners in sustaining academic excellence and building the university’s global reputation. The event, themed “Uniting UNIZIK Alumni for Impact, Legacy and Global Excellence,” included fundraising for the completion of the Alumni Centre, award presentations and goodwill messages from alumni chapters and other stakeholders.
