Osun Governorship Poll: Adeleke Wins Ede Polling Unit, 421 Votes to APC’s 29

Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party won his polling unit in Ede North Local Government Area by a wide margin during the Osun governorship election. At Ward 02, Polling Unit 009, Abogunde Compound, Adeleke polled 421 votes while the All Progressives Congress received 29 votes. Supporters gathered around the polling unit to celebrate and chant “Imole” as counting and collation continued across the state. Earlier, Adeleke urged Osun residents to vote peacefully, protect their votes and monitor the process in line with INEC guidelines. An allegation that APC agents offered voters ₦50,000 in Ede was not independently verified.
