Trendelenburg gait is a walking pattern in which one side of the pelvis drops while the opposite leg is lifted. Some people may also lean their upper body over the leg supporting their weight. Weakness, poor coordination, limited hip movement, past injuries or nerve-related problems can all affect this stability.
