Kira and her sister, Lima, said Ogogo’s condition worsened after the family discovered the seriousness of his illness only weeks ago. They appealed to qualified medical professionals and treatment facilities that may be able to help, stressing that they are seeking medical assistance rather than public donations. Ogogo, 66, is a major figure in Yoruba cinema with a career spanning more than four decades and appearances in over 300 films.
