Top 10 Highest-Grossing Nollywood Films of H1 2026
Nollywood films generated more than ₦2.25 billion at Nigerian cinemas in the first half of 2026, according to box-office data compiled by an industry tracker. The total is the highest combined first-half gross recorded by the top 10 local films. Call of My Life led the ranking with ₦719.8 million after nine weeks in cinemas. Love and New Notes followed with ₦400.5 million, while The Return of Arinzo earned ₦351.5 million. Other films on the list include Ajosepo: The Gathering, Onobiren, Efunroye, The Creek, Mother’s Love, The Boy Who Gave and Iwe Ala. The results highlight the strong cinema appeal of romantic comedies, dramas, historical stories and locally rooted narratives.
