Almería to Donate Matchday Ticket Revenue to Late Tenerife Striker’s Family
Spanish club UD Almería says it will donate all ticket revenue from its April home match against Tenerife to the family of Jesús de Miguel, the Tenerife striker who died aged 30 after suffering a cardiac arrest following an on-field collision during a match. The club said it hopes the gesture will support the family, while acknowledging that no financial help can make up for their loss. Cristiano Ronaldo owns a 25% stake in Almería.
