Simeone admitted that the Nigerian winger has not reached the level expected of him this season but praised his work rate. He said Lookman must keep taking risks, even when dribbles do not come off. Lookman has scored once and provided no assists in eight La Liga appearances. He was substituted at half-time in Atlético’s recent win over Alavés after receiving a yellow card.
