BBNaija Winner Ilebaye’s Father Explains Why He Allegedly Flogged Her Over Money

In an audio recording shared by a journalist, Emmanuel Godson Odiniya says he flogged his daughter, BBNaija All Stars winner Ilebaye Odiniya, over funds he needed for a medical trip to Dubai. He claims to have used his influence to rally support for her win and was hurt when she refused to lend him money. Mr. Odiniya also alleges years of disrespect and blames Ilebaye for encouraging his divorce and contributing to their younger son’s substance abuse issues. He contrasted her lavish spending at a friend’s wedding with her refusal to help her own father. A viral video from the altercation shows Ilebaye with visible bruises. The FCT Police confirmed they responded to a distress call, rescued her, and took her to the hospital for treatment.
