A hearse carrying a deceased person collided with a trailer at the Ganaja Village Roundabout in Lokoja on Thursday, July 9, 2026. Eyewitnesses say the crash claimed the lives of a baby, the driver transporting the body, and a family member accompanying the corpse. All victims died instantly at the scene. Authorities have not confirmed the cause of the collision. An official investigation is expected to commence soon.
