FCT Police Kill Two Kidnappers in Karshi Gun Duel

Police operatives from the FCT Command neutralized two kidnappers during a May 3 raid on a hideout in Karshi, near the Nasarawa border. According to SP Josephine Adeh, the suspects opened fire on officers and were killed in the ensuing gun duel. Three gang members escaped with suspected bullet wounds, and one was arrested. Authorities recovered two AK-47 rifles, a pistol, and 17 rounds of ammunition. Investigations link the syndicate to at least 12 abductions across Gwagwalada, Nyanya, Jikwoyi, and Karshi areas.
