“He who comes to equity must come with clean hands. Many members see the recent court judgment as a ploy to unsettle Lagos’s transport peace rather than uphold justice. The real issue lies with those promoting the ruling and their conduct under the last administration. Under Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya’s leadership, allegations of corruption, exploitation, intimidation and financial recklessness were widespread. Operators worked hard while revenues grew, yet members saw no meaningful improvement in their welfare. Now the same individuals claim to defend members’ interests while shifting loyalties to Lagos State Parks and Garages. This sudden change raises doubts about sincerity and hidden agendas. TOOAN deserves leaders committed to transparency, accountability and genuine care for all members.
