13-Year-Old With Reported IQ of 168 Accepted Into NYU Master’s Programme

Joe Petraro-Hyppolite, a 13-year-old student from Long Island, New York, has been accepted into a master’s programme at New York University. He reportedly scored 1,590 on the SAT at age 10 and completed high school at 11. He is now pursuing an undergraduate degree at Louisiana State University and plans to complete it in May 2027. Joe intends to study sports management at NYU, alongside kinesiology and biology. His mother said he had previously been placed in special education after a Tourette syndrome diagnosis, while Joe said his achievements still require hard work and learning.
