I’m Not Afraid of Wike: Seun Okinbaloye Fires Back at FCT Minister’s Threat

Channels Television anchor Seun Okinbaloye says he isn’t intimidated by Nyesom Wike’s threats. Wike had declared he would’ve “broken his TV screen and shot” Okinbaloye over comments that a one-party system could destroy Nigeria’s democracy. Amnesty International condemned the statement as “reckless and violent language.” Okinbaloye stood firm on his warning that one-way traffic in voting endangers our democracy. He stressed the caution applies to all Nigerians. He also revealed that Wike later called to clarify that his words were misunderstood.
