Leaked DSS Memo Warns of Planned Boko Haram Attacks and Kidnappings in Adamawa, Borno
A leaked DSS intelligence memo dated July 27, 2026, has warned of planned Boko Haram attacks in Michika LGA, Adamawa State, and Askira Uba LGA, Borno State. The alert follows the reported collapse of a ceasefire arrangement involving the affected state governments. The memo said the insurgents may target government officials, councillors, district heads, pastors and other residents.
