Finding Faith and Patience in Seasons of Waiting
Waiting for a prayer, job, healing, financial breakthrough or relationship can be one of faith’s hardest tests. Delays may feel like silence, but they do not necessarily mean that God has forgotten you. Biblical figures such as Abraham, Joseph, David, the Israelites and the disciples all faced periods of waiting before promises were fulfilled. Their stories show that patience can build trust, courage, character and dependence on God. Psalm 27:14 encourages believers to wait on the Lord with courage. The deeper question in a delayed season is whether we can still trust God even when we cannot yet see what He is doing.
