Pete Edochie Says He Is in a Class of His Own Among Nollywood Actors

Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie says he does not see himself as being on the same level as other actors in the industry. Speaking on a recent episode of an online interview show, Edochie said he has no favourite actor because he considers himself “bigger than all of them.” He also challenged anyone who believes they are his equal to say so publicly. The comments follow earlier claims by actor Yemi Solade that he began acting before Edochie. While Edochie did not name Solade, he said he does not respond to people who claim seniority over him in the industry. Edochie added that he appreciates being celebrated as a legend, even though he is unsure how people define the title.
