Defence Minister Christopher Musa says the Federal Government has defeated terrorism in Nigeria, arguing that attacks are no longer as frequent or as brazen as they once were. Speaking during a television interview on September 3, Musa said kidnapping has become a wider social problem. He claimed that some cases now involve relatives kidnapping one another.
