Peter Mbah’s Night Inspections Fast-Track Enugu’s Owo–Ikem Dual Carriageway

As the Owo–Ubahu–Amankanu–UmuAlor–Ihenyi–Ikem dual carriageway nears completion, China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) has praised Governor Dr. Peter Mbah’s hands-on approach. A site engineer highlighted the governor’s nightly site visits and strict oversight, which drove the deployment of extra equipment and manpower to meet tight deadlines. Under his leadership, additional major roads are also underway. Projects like the Eha-Amufu–UmuAlor–Neke Road and the Ikem–Nkwo–Benue Road in Nsukka are moving forward at pace, bringing infrastructure improvements to towns and rural communities across Enugu State. In a heartfelt video clip, a village woman describes Governor Mbah as “the first person to truly govern Enugu State.” She thanks him for opening roads that link her community to markets and opportunities, and hopes to present him with local produce as a token of gratitude.
