I’m Nearly 39 and Prefer Living Alone: Is That Normal?

I have avoided serious romantic relationships with women for most of my life. I am not attracted to men; I simply have never felt strongly drawn to marriage or having children. The five women I dated approached me first, but I ended those relationships because they became too demanding for me. I will be 39 in November, and people around me keep pressuring me to marry without asking what I truly want. I am financially stable and happiest living alone. Is it normal to want this kind of life, or can anyone relate?
