Shooting Stars Set Sights on NPFL, Federation Cup and CAF Treble
Shooting Stars chairman Taiwo Salami says the club is targeting the NPFL title, the Federation Cup and a strong CAF Confederation Cup campaign in the 2026/27 season. The Oluyole Warriors finished third last season to qualify for continental football for the first time in 27 years. The club has since appointed former Super Eagles assistant coach Salisu Yusuf as head coach, replacing Nurudeen Aweroro, and strengthened its squad with new signings. Salami said the team is ready to begin its push for silverware when it faces Inter Lagos in the opening fixture at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan.
