1XCup 2026 Qualifiers: Ighalo FA, Mega 22, Crystal and Tonic FC Advance

Tonic FC, Crystal FC, Mega 22 FC and Ighalo FA recorded victories in Thursday’s 1XCup 2026 qualifying matches at Inspire Sports Ground. Tonic FC beat Vino Gano 5-4 on penalties after a 1-1 draw. Vino Gano’s Gbadamosi Babatunde scored an own goal before later equalising. Crystal FC edged Diadem Stallion SC 1-0 through Ogunleye Adetoro’s late strike. Mega 22 FC defeated Edu Youth FC 3-0, with Essien Saviour Monday scoring twice before Oladipupo Gabriel Oluwafemi added a third. Ighalo FA also won 3-0 against Daja United, as Ezeji Ikenna scored twice and Nathaniel Akinpelu contributed one goal. Ighalo FA have now won all three matches in the competition, scoring 11 goals without conceding. Ikenna leads the scoring chart with five goals.
