I Was Robbed in Asaba After Spending About ₦140,000 Repairing My Phone
I travelled to Owerri, Imo State, to repair the screen of my Samsung S8 Plus because important files were still on it. I also replaced the battery, following the technician’s recommendation, after the phone had been unused for over two years. After spending about ₦140,000 on the repairs, I returned to Asaba. Around 7pm near Stadium Road, Nnebisi, I entered a keke heading home. The driver asked me to help push the keke, but it turned out to be a setup. My phone fell from my pocket during the confusion, and the driver and another person quickly drove off with it. The experience has left me deeply disappointed and cautious about helping strangers in such situations.
