Primate Ayodele Denies Predicting Tinubu’s Defeat in 2027

Primate Elijah Ayodele has denied reports claiming he predicted that President Bola Tinubu would lose the 2027 presidential election. The cleric said his remarks during a live church service were misrepresented. According to him, he said only that losing the election would be painful for Tinubu, not that the President would definitely lose. Ayodele accused political actors and some media outlets of deliberately twisting his prophecies for personal interests. He said he would reveal his prediction on the eventual winner of the 2027 election at the appropriate time and urged journalists to seek clarification from his media office when necessary.
