A Nigerian lady has stirred debate after comparing her experiences with male and female customer service workers. She said a male customer service agent recently attended to her politely, unlike some female staff she believes have shown unnecessary attitude. She also cited experiences with waitresses, shop attendants and female business owners. In one instance, she said a shop attendant allegedly ignored her after she asked for a cheaper pair of sunglasses than the ₦7,500 option she was shown. She argued that customer service standards need to improve, while acknowledging that her view is based on personal experiences.
