Noni Madueke came off the bench to score the decisive goal as Arsenal beat Nottingham Forest 1-0 at the City Ground. Arsenal dominated possession but found Forest difficult to break down. Neither team registered a shot on target before half-time. Mikel Arteta introduced Madueke for Eberechi Eze at the interval. In the 80th minute, Madueke cut inside from the left, beat Daniel Muñoz and fired a shot that deflected off Jair Cunha, wrong-footing Matz Sels. The result keeps Arsenal three points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City in the title race.
