Sanwo-Olu Gives Working Tools to 3,792 Lagos Vocational Centre Graduates
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has presented working tools to 3,792 graduates of the state’s vocational skills centres under the Micro Enterprise Support Initiative. The programme, held in Ikeja through the Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, is intended to help graduates start or expand small businesses, reduce poverty and promote self-reliance. The governor said nearly 40,000 Lagos residents have received similar support in the past seven years. The ministry added that 18,990 skills-centre graduates have received start-up equipment, alongside other beneficiaries of digital-skills, food-support and widow-support programmes.
