Kano NDC Says INEC Will Correct Omission of Governorship Candidate From Final List

The Kano chapter of the Nigeria Democratic Congress says INEC will correct the omission of its governorship candidate, Aminu Abdussalam-Gwarzo, from the final list of candidates. The party’s spokesperson, Yusif Fasaha, said INEC attributed the omission to a computer glitch. He said the party had completed the required nomination process and had been assured that a corrected list would be released. The party urged its members to remain calm while it continues consultations with INEC and other relevant authorities.
